This select development, designed and built by local craftsmen, enjoys south facing panoramic vistas of Loch Ness, the village of Drumnadrochit and beautiful Glenurquhart. Each lodge has a patio or balcony and is exceptionally comfortable and inviting. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard, the lodges are well insulated, fully double glazed and centrally heated. Some have 2 double and 1 twin bedded room with washhand basin, bathroom and separate toilet/shower room. The Green Lodge and No.6 have 2 en suite bedrooms and 1 double with wash hand basin. The Westend and "Number 11" both have all 3 en suite bedrooms (2 king sized beds) and all lodges have a complete bathroom and fully fitted kitchen. Lodges 7 and 8 both now have a conservatory lounge providing an extra space for relaxing and enjoying the views of Glenurquhart and Loch Ness.

At Achmony Lodges the beds are ready made up for you so there is no need to bring your own linen. A high chair is available at no charge, but must be pre-booked. The spacious lounge area of each house has a 3-2-1 seating arrangement and an open plan dining area/kitchen. Equipment includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, automatic washing machine/dryer and all necessary crockery and cutlery to make your holiday comfortable. All Achmony Lodges have hair dryer, television/DVD and CD/Radio players - in addition, all Lodges now have free to air Satellite TV.

Elizabeth Mackintosh, the owner of Achmony Holidays, has lived in Glenurquhart all her life as did her parents and grandparents before her. She has been in the self-catering business for over 50 years. Elizabeth has regularly welcomed guests who visit Achmony 2 and 3 times a year. Achmony Holidays can boast an extraordinary rate of repeat business - this in itself testifies to the quality of the experience guests enjoy. Most of Achmony's new visitors are from personal recommendation. Elizabeth has now handed over the management of the business to Interhome a long established and well respected company, with an office in Drumnadrochit.

All lodges sleep maximum of 6 persons, are no smoking and regret we do not accept pets at Achmony.

A car is advisable when visiting Achmony.
