Achmony Lodges are situated above the village of Drumnadrochit, on the shores of legendary Loch Ness. The area is world famous for its beauty and Loch Ness for its unsolved mystery ... the Monster! The private road, solely for the use of visitors to Achmony Lodges turns off the A831 Drumnadrochit/Cannich road and winds uphill. Each lodge is individually sited in over 70 acres of private and secluded birch-studded hillside overlooking Loch Ness.

Drumnadrochit has won awards for its stunning floral displays, including the famous miniature floral castle on the village green. The village has a range of shops and quality restaurants. There is a post office, a bank with ATM and various Loch Ness exhibitions. Urquhart Castle, perched on the banks of Loch Ness, is nearby and features a new and popular visitor centre. There is pony-trekking, fishing and interesting local walks on your doorstep - walks range from leisurely strolls to over 30 Munros. From Drumnadrochit you may enjoy boat trips on Loch Ness or hire a mountain bike and explore the stunning Highland landscape on two wheels. Achmony is the perfect base for touring: Inverness, capital of the Highlands, is 14 miles away. The city is vibrant while still retaining its old world charm.
