Achmony Lodges: self catering accommodation in Drumnadrochit, Loch Ness

This select development, designed and built by local craftsmen, enjoys south facing panoramic vistas of Loch Ness, the village of Drumnadrochit and beautiful Glenurquhart. Each lodge has a patio or balcony and is exceptionally comfortable and inviting. Furnished and equipped to at least permanent home standards, the lodges are well insulated, fully double glazed and centrally heated. All have 2 double and 1 twin bedded room with washhand basin, bathroom and separate toilet/shower room. The Green Lodge has 2 en suite bedrooms and 1 double with wash hand basin. The Westend and "Number 11" both have all 3 en suite bedrooms and all lodges have a complete bathroom and fully fitted kitchen.

At Achmony Lodges the beds are ready made up for you so there is no need to bring your own linen. Guests to Achmony Lodges are required to bring only personal towels. A cot and high chair are available at no charge, but must be pre-booked. The spacious lounge area of each house has a 3-2-1 seating arrangement and an open plan dining area/kitchen. Equipment includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, automatic washing machine/dryer and all necessary crockery and cutlery to make your holiday comfortable. All Achmony Lodges have colour television/DVD and CD/Radio/Cassette players - in addition, all Lodges now have free to air Satellite TV. There is an information pack in each lodge; Ordinance Survey maps are available from Reception.

Meet Alice and Mairead, our new Highland cows, enjoy the wildlife on your doorstep: watch buzzards soaring above you, look out for deer peeping through your patio door at dusk ... spot pine marten, red squirrels and mountain hares in their natural habitat. Elizabeth Mackintosh, the resident owner, has lived in Glenurquhart all her life as did her parents and grandparents before her. She has been in the self-catering business for over 30 years. Elizabeth regularly welcomes guests who visit Achmony 2 and 3 times a year. Achmony Holidays can boast an extraordinary 68% repeat business - this in itself testifies to the quality of the experience guests enjoy.
